There’s something undeniably magical about a Canberra wedding—especially when it blends tradition, romance, and rustic charm so effortlessly. Apri and Davy tied the knot in the heart of Australia’s capital, and their celebration was nothing short of unforgettable.
Their wedding day began with excitement and laughter at the charming Brassey Hotel, a timeless venue nestled in Barton, where both the bride and groom prepared with their closest friends and family. The morning was filled with soft light, emotional moments, and beautiful details that set the tone for the day ahead.
The couple exchanged vows in a deeply spiritual ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas, one of Canberra’s most iconic churches. The rich traditions, heartfelt rituals, and stunning Byzantine architecture created an atmosphere of reverence and intimacy. The sound of live chanting, the glow of candles, and the gentle presence of family made this ceremony a truly sacred experience.
Following the ceremony, we explored some of Canberra’s scenic spots for portraits, with the couple glowing against the golden hour light and the city’s natural beauty.
The celebration continued at the rustic and elegant Truffle Farm, where guests were welcomed into a warm and relaxed countryside setting. Surrounded by eucalyptus trees and rolling hills, the reception had a cozy yet sophisticated vibe—perfectly reflecting the couple’s vision. Long wooden tables, native floral arrangements, and festoon lights set the mood for an evening of great food, dancing, and heartfelt toasts under the stars.
Every moment—from the emotional first dance to the laughter-filled speeches—was a testament to the love April and Davy share. It was an honour to capture their story in such an extraordinary setting.
